Summary
One of the largest tribes in all of Europe, the Slavs, settled throughout the Balkan Mountain range well over a millennium ago. Since then, multiple countries and identities have risen throughout the region, that have all been subject to different regimes, governments, and foreign invasions.
Bosnia – Even Houdini would be amazed by the magic of this place.
Croatia – The archipelago of the Adriatic, with a brilliant medieval name (Hint, it’s not Croatia).
Macedonia – The Silent Star of the Balkans
Montenegro – Mountains or beaches? Why not have both?
